Soleil Ignacio is a multi-disciplinary creative focusing on illustration. Initially working as a Designer and Art Director for a magazine, she decided to work full-time as a self-employed Illustrator in 2011. Most of her clients come from the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries which includes TRESemmé, Seventeen Magazine, L’Oreal Paris, Sfera, La Mer, and Jo Malone London, amongst many others.
A graduate of the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, she has also taken up Continuing Education at Parsons School of Design and School of Visual Arts, in New York City.
Currently, Soleil works in her studio in Manila.
Feminine, edgy, and strong—her style combines expressive, stylised strokes with a touch of realism. She balances rough textures and clean shapes to emphasise certain areas of her illustrations. Her work uses a mix of digital and analog hand-drawn elements.
